Description
Loctite 577 is an industry-standard thread sealant that cures in just 6 hours, providing a seal on both straight and tapered threads. This pipe sealant locks against vibration-induced loosening and other day-to-day stresses.
Designed for locking and sealing any kind of threaded assembly, the liquid fills the gaps between threads, locking them into place and preventing slippage.
Chemically and thermally resistant, Loctite 577 is suitable for use on steel, aluminium, brass and all other metals. Unlike some jointing compounds, Loctite can be used on parallel or tapered threads.
Resistant to chemicals including petrol, diesel, coolant and AdBlue®, making it perfect for use in fuelling environments.
Recent upgrades to the formula provide improved strength on contaminated surfaces and even more thermal resistance.
